Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy sets out the rules for storing and accessing data on Users' Devices when using the Website, for the purpose of providing services by electronic means by the Website Administrator.

§ 1 Definitions

  • Website – the website operating at pawellis.pl
  • Third-party service – websites of the Administrator's partners, service providers or clients
  • Administrator – PAWEL LIS ARCHITEKCI, operating at Broniewskiego 20 lok. 1, 05-510 Konstancin-Jeziorna, Poland, tax identification number (NIP): 6581003723, providing services by electronic means through the Website and storing and accessing information on the User's Device
  • User – a natural person to whom the Administrator provides services by electronic means through the Website
  • Device – an electronic device together with software through which the User accesses the Website
  • Cookies – text data stored in files placed on the User's Device

§ 2 Types of Cookies

  • First-party cookies – files placed on and read from the User's Device by the Website's own systems
  • Third-party cookies – files placed on and read from the User's Device by the systems of third-party services
  • Session cookies – files placed on and read from the User's Device during a single session. They are deleted from the Device when the session ends.
  • Persistent cookies – files placed on and read from the User's Device until they are manually deleted. They are not removed automatically when the session ends, unless the User's Device is configured to delete cookies at the end of each session.

§ 3 Security

  • Storage and read mechanisms – cookie storage and read mechanisms do not allow any personal data or confidential information to be retrieved from the User's Device. Transferring viruses, trojans or other malware to the User's Device is practically impossible.
  • First-party cookies – the first-party cookies used by the Administrator are safe for Users' Devices.
  • Third-party cookies – the Administrator is not responsible for the security of cookies originating from the Website's partners. The list of partners is provided in § 5 of this Policy.

§ 4 Purposes for which cookies are used

  • Improving access to the Website – the Administrator may store information about the User's preferences and settings in cookies in order to improve and speed up the delivery of services on the Website.
  • Statistical data – the Administrator and third-party services use cookies to collect and process statistical data, such as visit statistics, Device statistics and user behaviour statistics. This data is collected in order to analyse and improve the Website.

§ 5 Third-party services

The Administrator uses tools provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), which store cookies on the User's Device:

  • Google Analytics 4 – analysis of Website traffic: number of visits, pages viewed, time spent on the Website. The data is used in aggregate form to improve the Website. Stored only after the User has given consent.
  • Google Ads – measuring the performance of advertising campaigns, including whether a User who reached the Website from an advertisement subsequently contacted the Administrator. Stored only after the User has given consent.

Google may also process data outside the European Economic Area, on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Google's data processing terms: policies.google.com/privacy

The Administrator uses Google Consent Mode, which passes the User's cookie decision directly to Google's tools. If consent is not given, Google's tools do not store cookies on the User's Device.

§ 6 Legal basis and consent

  • Necessary cookies – required for the Website to function correctly, including remembering the User's cookie decision. Stored without the need for consent. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest of the Administrator).
  • Analytics and marketing cookies – stored solely on the basis of the User's voluntary consent. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Declining consent does not restrict the User's ability to use the Website or to contact the Administrator.

§ 7 Managing your consent

On the first visit to the Website, a banner is displayed in which the User may grant or decline consent to analytics and marketing cookies. Until consent is given, these cookies are not stored.

Consent may be changed or withdrawn at any time: open cookie settings

The record of the User's decision is stored for 180 days, after which the banner is displayed again.

The User may also delete stored cookies and block their storage using the settings of their web browser.

§ 8 Your rights

The User has the right to: access their data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, object to its processing, data portability, and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

The User also has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.

§ 9 Disclaimer

  • The Administrator takes all reasonable measures to ensure the security of data stored in cookies. However, the security of this data depends on both parties, including the User's own conduct and the security status of the Device they use.
  • The Administrator is not liable for the interception of data contained in cookies, session hijacking or deletion of such data resulting from the User's deliberate or inadvertent conduct, or from viruses, trojans and other spyware with which the User's Device may be infected.
  • Services provided by third parties are beyond the Administrator's control. Such entities may change their terms of service, purposes and use of cookies at any time. To the extent permitted by law, the Administrator is not liable for the operation of cookies used by partner services. Users may manage cookie permissions and settings for any website at any time.

§ 10 Website requirements

  • Restricting the storage of and access to cookies on the User's Device may cause some Website functions to work incorrectly.
  • The Administrator accepts no liability for Website functions not working correctly where the User has restricted, in any way, the ability to store and read cookies.

§ 11 Changes to this Cookie Policy

  • The Administrator reserves the right to amend this Cookie Policy.
  • Any changes to this Cookie Policy will always be published on this page.
  • Changes take effect on the date this Cookie Policy is published.
